Torq is seeking an experienced and dynamic Professional Services Leader to join our Customer Organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing our professional services team, ensuring the successful delivery of consulting and jumpstart engagements around our hyperautomation and HyperSOC offerings, as well as a variety of cybersecurity projects, and driving customer satisfaction. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in the cybersecurity and automation industries, including significant experience with Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR). Working knowledge with multiple cybersecurity solutions and implementing Security Operations Center (SOC) programs is a big plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management

- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing professional services team.

- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent cybersecurity projects.

- Ensure alignment of the professional services team with Torq’s strategic goals and objectives.

- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.

Project Management

- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless project execution.

- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring proactive problem-solving.

Customer Engagement

- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.

- Understand customer needs and requirements, providing tailored solutions to meet their cybersecurity and automation objectives.

- Conduct regular status meetings and progress reviews with clients, ensuring transparency and effective communication.

Technical Expertise

- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cybersecurity, automation, and SOAR.

- Provide technical guidance and expertise to the professional services team and clients.

- Ensure the quality and accuracy of project deliverables, including design documents, implementation plans, and final reports.

- Leverage working knowledge of multiple cybersecurity solutions and SOC program implementation to enhance service offerings.

Business Development

- Support the sales team in scoping and proposing professional services engagements.

- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services and solutions.

- Contribute to the development of new service offerings and enhancements to existing services.

- Enable our partners to deliver services by providing them with the necessary training, resources, and support.


- Minimum of 5 years of experience in professional services, project management, or consulting roles within the cybersecurity industry.

- Strong technical background in cybersecurity, automation, and SOAR technologies.

- Proven track record of successfully delivering a variety of projects to enterprise clients.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, PMP) are a plus.

- Significant experience with automation tools and SOAR platforms.

- Working knowledge of multiple cybersecurity solutions and experience in implementing SOC programs is a big plus.
